Max Karl Grimm
Max's upbringing in a quaint rural town in Florida was imbued with a profound affection for the arts, juxtaposed with the challenge of a speech impediment that veiled his ability to articulate. Seeking solace and expression, he delved into painting, writing, and various artistic pursuits. Upon relocating to Miami during adolescence and undergoing speech therapy, Max found himself captivated by the transformative power of acting.
Over the years, he has graced numerous stages, spanning genres from Shakespearean classics to avant-garde experiments, accruing invaluable experience across diverse mediums such as radio, television, and film. With over 60 theatrical productions to his credit, Max's journey naturally evolved into mentorship and direction, where he discovered fulfillment in nurturing aspiring talents along their artistic odysseys. His passion for honing the nuances of vocal performance remains a central focus of his coaching endeavors.
Kelley Cody-Grimm
Kelley's narrative as a writer and performer traces back to her formative years, where she discovered her knack for eliciting laughter amidst the corridors of grade school. Initially finding her stride through improv with the ensemble Mental Floss, Kelley went on to establish both The Eclectic Company and the acclaimed OTC Comedy Troupe. Her acting repertoire includes notable appearances in productions such as "The Resident," "Queens," and "Judge Dad."
As an educator, Kelley derives immense satisfaction from witnessing her students unlock their creative potential through the medium of improv, while encouraging them to explore diverse avenues of self-expression, be it through writing, music, or dance. Her prowess as a writer is evidenced by the accolades garnered by her scripts at national and international film festivals. Currently engaged in crafting two screenplays alongside completing a pilot script and her second novel, Kelley continues to weave captivating narratives that resonate across audiences.
